With over 100 years of combined OHV user experience the US OHV ALLIANCE was started as a 501 3c Non Profit to protect the legacy of the OHV community, provide much needed OHV education back to the OHV community and to advise new OHV recreational users in the proper way to use our public and private lands and trails. Working with public and private donations the US OHV Alliance was started for OHV users by actual people that go OFF ROAD . The organization is actively involved in trail stewardship projects though out the US working with many OHV manufacturing entities, Federal and State agencies and other Non Profit entities.
Executive Director - Doug Bigelow
Doug Bigelow is a lifelong OHV user of over 40 years. He received his first dirt bike at the age of 7 on a Honda 50 and hasn’t looked back since. Through his early years Doug had various offroad vehicles to include Jeeps, Trucks and the occasional odd ball Isuzu Amigo and Samurai. He found his passion for the outdoors and trail riding in college at James Madison University where he was a D1 football player.
Doug is responsible for providing strategic direction, overseeing operations and finances, spearheading key partnerships and offering leadership across all aspects of the organization to advance its mission.
Based in West Virginia, Bigelow is a dynamic business leader with nearly three decades of proven success in setting and achieving sales goals, forecasting, identifying strategic opportunities, budget development, staff management and talent acquisition. A forward-thinking executive with fortune 500 company’s Doug has a passion for customer service, excels at navigating the complexities of large organizations and aligning them to meet the needs of all stakeholders.
He has a passion for the OHV community and Off Road motorsports and has worked with “the who’s who” in the industry including Rick Hendrick Motorsports, Polaris, TAP, BFG, Maxxis, Mickey Thompson and Yukon Gear amongst others.
Previously the Executive Director with Tread Lightly! Doug has the strong ability to forge key relationships for success. Bigelow is also the President and Owner of Bigelow Motorsports and is known as a motorsports off-road personality, brand influencer and professional racer.
